3hr ride, screen on 30 sec timeout most of the time. In Airplane mode. Battery at end -77%.

2hr ride. Screen on 30sec timeout. Known route so did not need to look at phone. Airplane mode. Battery at end 83%.

Get the best 3D view

The extent of 3D view is limited by the zoom level on Google maps (used by Mike’s Tracker). In order to change to 3D effect drag two fingers (side by side) up or down the screen.

In Windows set up a ‘Tracks’ library

To aid finding frequently used files/folders Microsoft has added the concept of libraries. Transferring .gpx files from ones phone to ones favourite analysis website is faster if one adds a ‘Tracks’ library and add to it the folder where you store your tracks.
